Katie + Josh | Rustic Karma Vineyards Wedding

Karma Vinyards Wedding Amelia Soper PhotographyI honestly don’t know where to begin with this absolutely beautiful wedding. I’ll start by saying that every wedding is lovely in its own way; every couple is unique and everyone’s idea of the “perfect wedding” differs greatly. Some of my favorite couples didn’t care much for the pretty details of the wedding, they were more than happy just to be marrying the one who makes them the happiest in front of all of their favorite people. That being said, I’d totally be lying if I didn’t say how much I absolutely love those yummy little details, and this wedding right here? Oh it was chock full of all kinds of pretty! Katie and Josh’s rustic Karma Vineyards wedding was perfection. The table greenery, lemons, and vines gave it the unmistakable feel of the Italian countryside. Guests were transported up to the ceremony site, overlooking Lake Chelan, and then back down to the reception, by the most adorable little trolley. After some great toasts, some hysterical and some tearful, and a very tasty dinner, everyone headed inside to the affectionately-named “Cave” for dancing and cake.  I have to say, my very favorite part of the day had to be Josh’s dance with his mother, which started slow and quickly morphed into an amazing choreographed flash mob dancing to Flo Rida’s Cake. And ya’ll know how much I love Flo Rida. It was delightfully unforgettable. I cannot say enough about this wedding, this wonderful couple, and all of their family and guests. The entire day was filled with joy and love and just the right amount of shenanigans. Katie and Josh, your wedding day is most definitely right near the top of my all-time favorites and I am so grateful you chose to spend your day with me. xx, Amy
